The Montana Manufacturing Extension Center partners with Montana State University and local host agencies. It is hosted by the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce. The MMEC works with Montana manufacturers in such categories as ISO 9000 and 14000, production management, labor resource planning, cycle time reduction, product costing, supplier identification, and many more engineering related issues. An initial consultation is free and then a proposal is made for the MMEC Engineer to conduct a project for a negotiated fee.
