Small Business Development Center
The Kalispell Small Business Development Center is part of a statewide network of resource and technical service providers that assist start-up and existing businesses. The SBDC professional staff provides confidential business counseling, training and information to small business leaders and entrepreneurs. With assistance from our staff, business leaders can develop and enhance the financial, managerial and technical skills they need to compete and succeed in today's complex business environment.
Counseling services are strictly confidential and provided at no charge, funded by the Small Business Administration, Montana Department of Commerce, and the Kalispell Area Chamber of Commerce.
Areas of Assistance
- Technical assistance and review in writing business plans,
- Financial analysis,
- Breakeven analysis and cash flow projections,
- Preparation for conventional bank or other state and private financing sources,
- Assistance with marketing research, analysis and strategy,
- Business Planning, Marketing and Financing Workshops offered weekly,
- Referrals to private and public business professionals,
- One-on-one counseling for existing and start-up business management.
